    Responsibilities

    Business Development

    • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities in North America
    • Make initial contacts with potential clients
    • Present and promote our company and brands to potential clients in North America
    • Identify clients’ needs and recommend appropriate products/services
    • Generate and propose ideas on customizing product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
    • Establish a foundation for long-term trusting relationships with clients in North America
    • Proactively seek new business opportunities in North America market
    • Arrange meetings or introductions between (prospective) clients and business development team
    • Stay up-to-date with news and activities of exhibitors and competitions in North America.
    • Gather and analyze information on the movie theater industry, trends, exhibitors and competitions in North America and report to COO and Head of Business Development team when necessary
    • Report to the COO and Head of Business Development team when necessary on all business development activities twice a week

     

    Studio Relations

    • Upates Monthly on release line-ups for competitive formats if possible (Specifically: IMAX, D-Box, MX4D, Dolby Cinema)
    • Insight into costs that competitors are paying for advertising their formats in North America.
    • Research how many local titles are produced/year for competitive formats
    • Research worthwhile conventions or events to attend

     

    Marketing

    • Providing strategic counsel around CJ 4DPLEX Americas’ including insights on industry developments and trends, and recommendations on activities to pursue.
    • Assisting press, influencer, celebrity outreach efforts
    • Working closely with the CJ 4DPLEX Americas marketing team to complete relevant award submissions within the market
    • Investigating relevant opportunities to position CJ 4DPLEX Americas as a thought leader on innovation and the future of the cinema industry (for example: speaking opportunities, inclusion in industry trend stories, potential sponsorship opportunities, etc.).  

    Basic Qualifications

    • Master's degree & 8 years of directly related experience
    • Bachelor's degree & 10 years of directly related experience
    • Associate's degree & 12 years of directly related experience
    • High school diploma / GED & 14 years of directly related experience

    Preferred Qualifications

     

    • Experience/Knowledge in digital, film, media, entertainment industry
    • B.A. or equivalent in business management
    • Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Territory Management,
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
    • Ability to analyze information and problem solving
    • Ability to build and develop relationship 
    • Excellent selling / sales strategy / presentation skills for large market opportunities
    • Good understanding of the film/entertainment industry
