    Responsibilities

    The Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for cost accounting as well as overall financial accounting functions in a manufacturing company, and will oversee production management

    • Conduct monthly cost analysis report
    • Draft monthly standard costs and other cost-related tasks such as creating and maintaining of material master data (accounting & cost view)
    • Transfer price set up between CJ Foods and CJ Foods Manufacturing Beaumont Corporation
    • Initiate planning & budgeting of COGM during annual business plan
    • Review daily journal entries in accordance with US GAAP including, but not limited to payroll adjustments, accruals, and related entries, personal reimbursements, and corporate card expenses reviews
    • Maintain SAP master data including asset acquisition & disposition, investment management, and vendor master maintenance including MDG
    • Manage month-end closing for CO and report various financial statements to upper management and CJ Korea
    • Other duties as assigned such as monthly sales & use tax return

    Basic Qualifications

    • Doctorate Degree
    • Master’s Degree & 3 years of directly related experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree & 5 years of directly related experience
    • Associate’s Degree & 8 years of directly related experience
    • High school diploma/GED & 10 years of directly related experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience in Accounting & Finance, Production Planning, and/or Material Management experience in Food Industry
    • Bilingual (English & Korean)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
    • Organizational skills including abilities to multi-task, prioritize, and direct attention to details
    • Flexible and adaptable to change
    • High capacity as a team player
